WHAT WE DO & WHO WE WORK WITH:

Elevate Wellness & Nutrition combines medical nutrition therapy with evidence based functional nutrition interventions to help individuals optimize their skin health.

Are you an individual experiencing chronic, stubborn acne?

Are you tired of band aid solutions that help manage, but don't address the root cause of why you have acne in the first place? Like...

  • topical treatments

  • face washes

  • accutane

  • antibiotics

  • spironolactone

  • birth control

IF YES, HERE'S THE PROCESS:

Initial Evaluation

In this stage, you will meet with Ava 1:1 for 90 minutes to discuss what a day in the life currently looks for you. The good, the bad, the ugly. Here we will discuss making adjustments to your diet and lifestyle at baseline.

Advanced Lab Testing

Based on our conversation 1:1, Ava will determine what lab tests need to be performed. These might include GI Mapping (stool sample), Dutch adrenal testing (urine sample), blood panels or hair mineral tests (hair sample). Cost for lab tests are included in each package and added-on as necessary.

Individualized Interventions

Once results are in from the lab(s), Ava will discuss and explain what they mean and what nutrition and supplement interventions are going to be best for you moving forward. This is where the magic happens. Follow-up with Ava until you notice changes being made. Option for a 3-month, 4-month or 5 -month package. Price varies per package. Optional extension packages for more support.

The Dietitian Difference.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionists are different than "Nutritionists"

Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDN) are qualified food and nutrition experts licensed to practice medical nutrition therapy after a minimum of a 4-year undergraduate degree in nutrition and completion of a dietetic internship program. Be aware of nutrition influencers -- if you don't see a "RDN" behind a nutrition practitioners name, they may provide misleading information. Always check for credentials or a degree before working with a nutrition practitioner!
